CSD Login: How to Sign In at secure.csd.gov.za (and Fix It When You Can't)
How to log in to the Central Supplier Database at secure.csd.gov.za, reset a forgotten password, and fix the most common CSD login problems — with the official CSD support contact if nothing else works.
You log in to the Central Supplier Database at secure.csd.gov.za — not csd.gov.za, which is only the information site and has no login. Use the email address and password you set when you first registered.
How to log in
- Go to secure.csd.gov.za.
- Enter the email address you registered with.
- Enter your password.
- Click Login.
Forgot your password?
- On the secure.csd.gov.za login page, use the password-reset / "Forgot password" link.
- Enter the email address linked to your CSD profile.
- Open the reset email and follow the link to set a new password.
- If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before requesting another reset — requesting several resets in a row can itself cause delays.
Common login problems
- Typing csd.gov.za instead of secure.csd.gov.za — the two are different sites; only the second has a login.
- Using an old email address — your login is tied to the email you registered with, not necessarily your current business email.
- Registration not yet approved — if you've only just submitted your application, you may not be able to log in to a full profile until verification completes (see our CSD registration guide for timing).
- Repeated failed password attempts — if you suspect your account has been locked after several wrong attempts, contact CSD support (below) rather than continuing to guess.
Still can't get in?
National Treasury publishes an official CSD support line for exactly this: csd@treasury.gov.za or 012 406 9222. Your province also runs its own CSD helpdesk (listed on the CSD site's contact page) if you'd rather deal with a provincial number.
What you need, how verification works, and the three most common rejection reasons.
Frequently asked questions
What is the CSD login website?+
secure.csd.gov.za. The plain csd.gov.za site is informational only and has no login — if you can't find a login box, you're on the wrong site.
How do I reset my CSD password?+
On the secure.csd.gov.za login page, use the "Forgot password" link, enter your registered email address, and follow the reset link that's emailed to you.
Why is my CSD account locked?+
This usually follows several incorrect password attempts in a row. Stop guessing and contact CSD support (csd@treasury.gov.za or 012 406 9222) to unlock it rather than risking further lockout.
Who do I contact for CSD login problems?+
National Treasury's CSD support: csd@treasury.gov.za or 012 406 9222. Each province also runs its own CSD helpdesk.
